ABOUT OUR CLASSES and REGISTRATION

We have always worked to accommodate variations in women’s incomes while honoring our own needs for right livelihood as vocational Priestesses. We always offer a sliding scale. If you are able to pay the top of the sliding scale, we deeply appreciate it. If you need to make other payment arrangements, please contact us at  info@guardiansofthegrove.org to discuss possibilities.

We want to help you get to class!

We have limited funds to assist with class registrations.

If you would like to make a donation to the Minerva Scholarship Fund, please make your donation here.

Your donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.

Many of our events, and all rituals, are by donation only with no one turned away for lack of funds.

Classes are kept purposely small (typically limited between 10-12 students), so they often fill quickly. Exceptions include Ruth's Intro Talk which is unlimited (and a few others that will indicate this).

Once your space is confirmed, please register.

USING FOLK TRADITIONS TO CREATE YOUR OWN HOLIDAY CUSTOMS & RITUALS

With Kerry Cerredwen (Guardians of the Grove)

In this 2-hour class, we will learn about some folk traditions that we can adapt and incorporate into our own celebrations of the 8 holy days of our year. I’ll be sharing traditions from several cultures, and together we will come up with some ideas of how you might use these folk customs in rituals and in your homes.

RELIGIOUS/SPIRITUALITY STUDIES

These courses, whether one-day or multiple session, invite you to think more deeply about Dianic Witchcraft and religion in general, paying attention to deep structures, relevant scholarly theories, and historical contexts and connections, that help us better understand what we do in our own spiritual lives (and our tradition in general), see Dianic Tradition in a broader context, and create our practices more intentionally.

THE BUILDING BLOCKS OF RELIGION

With Kerry/Cerridwen (Guardians of the Grove)

This 2-part class is a course primarily designed for those who serve as priestesses or facilitators, but women who are interested in “how things work” are also welcome! In this course, we will examine the structures and functions of religion in culture and in the lives of individuals, using some theories from scholars from the disciplines of anthropology, folklore, and religious studies to help us understand how and why stuff operates and functions in religions/spiritualities. If we know what the building blocks are, we can more intentionally work with them, and create with them, as we craft our own spiritual lives, and our spiritual communities.

WHO ARE ALL THESE PAGANFOLKS, AND HOW DID THEY GET HERE? A Brief History of Neopaganism and Modern Witchcraft

With Kerry/Cerridwen (Guardians of the Grove)

This 2-part course gives a brief overview of the history of the modern Neopagan and Modern Witchcraft movements, and places Dianic Witchcraft within that context. Familiarizing yourself with this historical information helps you understand the differences and similarities between and among different traditions in this larger movement, and helps facilitate communication and cooperation with those who practice other forms of Neopaganism & Witchcraft. I’ll share info, and we’ll share questions and answers together.

A HERSTORY OF DIANIC WITCHCRAFT

We’ll talk about the cultural and occult influences that were “in the air” when Z started her first coven, and how various High Priestesses have gone on to develop the tradition in many ways. Though we will focus on Circle of Aradia and Temple of Diana, we will include other strands of our tradition as well.
